Your Responsibilities:
• Developing and operating production-ready AI pipelines (transcription, analysis, semantic search) • Integrating LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, local models) via unified adapter layers • Building and maintaining RAG pipelines (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with vector databases • Implementing event-driven workflows via NATS JetStream or Apache Kafka • Developing polyglot Microservices (Python/FastAPI, Go, Java/Spring Boot) in Kubernetes • Prompt engineering, fine-tuning strategies and model quality evaluation • Observability: building monitoring and tracing for AI services (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) • Close collaboration with the architecture team for continuous platform improvement
Your Profile:
• Proven experience developing LLM-based applications (RAG, agents, pipelines) • Strong Python skills; FastAPI, asyncio and data processing are familiar to you • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector or comparable) • Experience with messaging systems: NATS JetStream or Apache Kafka • Basic knowledge of containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes (Helm, OpenShift is a plus) • Understanding of software architecture principles (Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, DDD) • Experience with speech-to-text technologies (Whisper or comparable) is a plus • Knowledge of additional languages (Go, Java, TypeScript) is a plus • Business-fluent German (B2+) & good English (B2+)
